He is guilty as hell. It is really only a question as to if the ‘Celebrity Exemption’ in California law extends to producers. (You see his picture? A man with his money should have someone tell him how to dress.) ---

Just remember. His lawyer is one Bruce Cutler. One of of his lawyers anyway. You may remember him. He’s the guy who gave John Gotti his teflon suit. It wasn’t until the judge tossed Cutler off the final trial for some kind of conflict of interest that they were able to keep the jury untouched and get the conviction. Guy _knows_ how to work a trial and a jury. ---

I’ve been watching it on Court TV I think he’s probably guilty, but it’s not a slam dunk. One of the women who testified had to also testify that after the gun incident, that she also had further interaction (I think she did some work) with him at a later date which has to damage her credibility. ---

If a washed-up football player can get away with double murder, I don’t see why a reasonably well-known producer can’t get away with just one. Seriously, I’m not really following it, but what I’ve heard makes it sound like a mental ward might be more appropriate than prison. Spector is pretty much the poster child for the Partnership For A Drug-Free America. ---
