Standard flavor: French Vanilla. I haven’t found a good one in years, not much choice where I live. Novelty: Ben and Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk or Peanut Butter Cup. ---

Homemade is the best, with the only contender being a local stand in the parking lot of a large chain store, where their “small” size is three scoops. If you want one scoop, it’s a “baby”. And the small is less than two bucks. ---

Mint & chip and pistachio. Anything green I guess. 😉 Actually all the flavors I had in Turkey were delicious. The consistancy of their ice cream was different too. It was sort of slimier. Lemon and sour cherry were my 2nd and 3rd pick in Turkey. I had the pistachio the most. ---

Mint chocolate chip (Pierre’s is good, or Breyer’s, but really, I like just about any I’ve had). Raspberry sherbet (ditto). Ben & Jerry’s Heathbar Crunch. And the occasional root beer float. ---

Hey, does anybody have a good recipe for coconut ice cream that only uses ingredients that can be commonly found in the grocery store (coconut cream, for instance, I can’t find anywhere)? ---

I’m reading this thread thinking I’m not the ice cream lover I thought I was - I don’t have a particular favourite flavour. I’ll have a small dipped cone at Dairy Queen, or a small chocolate soft serve at McDonalds (if I can ever find it), or a hard ice cream cone on occasion, but it’s not really my thing, I guess. Maybe that explains why I’m not interested in ice cream cakes.
