# Anybody have a Roomba?

That cat is an utter slut for attention. We didn’t know _just_ how bad, though, until he started ambushing the robot for the extra petting… 😃

I was going to start a similar thread myself.

The one question I have is if it can navigate over rugs. We have all hardwood floors, but a few rugs dispersed throughout. Any indication that this might pose a problem?

Area rugs with fringes are a probelm, but fixable. You merely tuck the fringe back up under the rug. Area rugs without fringes should present no issues, unless their edges are curled.

Great, Thanks! No fringes here, so we should be OK (contemplating my wife’s Xmas gift…)
