# Anybody have 'The Amps' album 'Pacer'? Help me out.

Is the track “Breaking The Split Screen Barrier” supposed to end “stuttering”? I just bought the CD used, and I want to be sure that’s the way it’s supposed to be. I’m about 95 percent sure it’s on purpose, but I’d like confirmation if possible.

Yep, it does it on my version too. So either it’s intentional or they did a really lousy job with quality control on that release. (Since this is the second version of the album I’ve bought).
Funny, this is the first time I listened to that album after “Pacer.” Usually I just listen to “Full on Idle” on repeat for hours.

BTW, ever listen to Kelley Deal 6000? I was a huge Breeders fan, and only just heard of The Amps and Kelley Deal 6000 (Kelley is Kim Deal’s twin sister, with pretty much an identical voice).

KD6000 has some real good ones:
Brillo Hunt, Future Boy, My Boyfriend Died, Get the Writing off my Back. Those are my favs.
Actually, I think Kelley’s voice is better than Kim’s, but lacks a certain raw element that Kim has.
I wish the KD6000 were still producing, but I understand a new Breeders album is being produced.

Did anybody buy the Breeders third album “Title TK”? I own it and I kind of like it – very stripped down, almost Pixie-esque in some points. It is just one of those albums nobody ever talks about.

I have it, but to be honest I don’t recall much about it. Couldn’t have been too memorable for me, I guess.
