I need to put a ceiling in the basement, and i hate suspended ceilings. I have heard that you can stretech a piece of canvas cloth between the walls-this is called a cloth ceiling. i can’t find any info on the web-anybody know how hard this is to do?

If you can’t find anything on the web, you’re google-fu is very weak.
Try “fabric ceiling” instead of “cloth ceiling”

There seems to be a common concern that the flashpoint of fabric on the ceiling is low, thereby creating a potentially hazardous situation
