A friend was visiting the Paris zoo and saw two of [these](http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r156/Phlosphr/mysteryanimal.jpg). Cute I know, but no idea what they are… ---

yow… looks like a cross between a bear and a wolf… It would’ve been helpful to see the legs. I’ll be watching for better answers… I’m very curious! ---

They’re [Bush Dogs.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_Dog) They live in tropical forests in the Americas as far north as Panama. They hunt in packs, mainly for large forest rodents. They kind of look like feral Corgis. ---
