I like to check Yahoo now and then for a quick look at the headlines, my mail, stocks and a few other things. It had a nice clean screen that could be adjusted as the user saw fit. Now, like so many others, the Yahoo staff felt impelled to “improve” something that needed no improving. The result is an abomination that does not do half of what the old one did, has links that don’t work, states that it can be tailored to the users likes, but it can’t, etc, etc. No choice, they just make everybody use it. grumble, grumble. ---

And you can customize it, you just have to set up a My Yahoo page. ---

I was soooo expecting this to be a zombie thread. I didn’t like the new version at first, but there’s nothing wrong with it. I do wish the mail button would go straight to the inbox, though. ---

[/QUOTE] I think the OP is talking about “My Yahoo”. Yahoo just forced everyone with a My Yahoo page to “upgrade” to a new version that is uglier and seemingly less flexible. ---

I don’t like it either. I have scores of my favorite teams’ games in the top left corner. It used to be that it would show the score of yesterday’s AND today’s games at the same time. Now, I have to click on “Yesterday” if I want to see yesterday’s score instead of today’s.
