# Anybody living in a modular home?

My MIL is about to build a house and we are looking into modular homes (built in sections in a factory then shipped to home site and connected) but don’t have any first hand knowledge.

Anybody living in one? Happy with it? All they said it would be?

Razorette and I moved into our “double-wide” two years ago. E-mail me with your e-mail address, I’ll send you photos and a “guide to buying a modular home” I wrote for a local lender after going through the experience. All in all, it’s been a good experience, but there are some things you need to know. And it makes a big difference whether you’re putting it in town or out in the country
