You’re all preaching to the choir, baby. I loved the original back in '77 but disliked both the sequels. I walked out of “The Phantom Menace”, skipped the next one and have no plans to see the current one. Bring on Firefly! ---

I “exited” after Episode II and don’t plan to see the third one. ---

Star Wars has been dead to me roughly since I left college 10 years ago. I’ll see Sith b/c my SO wants to see it, but I could care less at this stage. ---

I enjoyed the first three, but never went overboard into geek-girl fandom with them (as I have with some other things: Trek, LOTR). I went to see the first of the new threesome in a theatre when it first came out, but such was my dislike of Jar-Jar that I said I would not pay money to see the others… and I haven’t. I only saw the second movie when my sister rented it as a video for her kids–which convinced me that I hadn’t missed much of anything. I’ll only see the final one if similar circumstances re-occur. ---
