Googling on “denial of service” I see those attacks were actually against a company called Akamai, which has several clients including both Yahoo! and Google. Anyone know anything else? ---

Someone just told me that hotmail and yahoo are blocking gmail invitations. Any truth to this rumor? Sounds pretty dumb if they are. ---

I received my invite to my yahoo addy, and have been sending invites to both yahoo and hotmail addys successfully. ---

Thanks to **siberia** for hooking me up with a gmail account. Woo! A quick warning, if you set your SDMB email to your new gmail account, the confirmation email will be tagged as Spam. If you’re not auto-deleting Spam, it will be in the Spam folder. Thank to **TubaDiva** for helping me straighten this out. ---
