Act fast, folks! In an hour or so I’m taking them over to my wife’s office; there’s at least one very interested party over there. To be honest, I’m not really prepared to part with them TODAY; I thought this would take a while and I’d get a hance to adjust and all that. **missbunny** , they’ll be 7 weeks on Friday; I’ve always heard 6 weeks as the time when they’re adoptable. Their mama is already gone, and on top of that they’re extremely grown-up, smart little dogs. They’re ready. **GrizzRich** , I do indeed wear Chucks; thank you for noticing. ---

The absolute earliest puppies should leave their littermates is 7 weeks (49 days), and 7 week old puppies should only go to experienced homes that know how to properly imprint them. Pet puppies really shouldn’t leave their littermates until 8 weeks.
