I’m pretty sure Hilary would have won if Comey had not decided to make his last minute announcement. I could be wrong, obviously, but last minute things can have an affect on an outcome. I’m doing my best to ignore the polls. I don’t believe most of them are accurate anyway. I’m voting for Joe and will do what I can to encourage others to do the same. ---

At this point I’m convinced that “Democrats hate Biden” is the new “Walkaway”, a deliberate astroturfed message being endlessly pushed and parroted by those who want to weaken Biden’s chances of re-election, either to benefit Trump or because a more contentious election is good for ratings. In 2020 Biden was about 5th on my list of preferred Democratic nominees and I thought at best he would be good in office by being not-Trump. Instead, he has far exceeded all my expectations, with record economic growth, low unemployment, a manufacturing boom, the infrastructure development Trump promised for four years and never delivered, America’s global influence restrengthened, handling of the war in Ukraine, etc etc. But Americans think the economy is bad and that Biden is senile, incompetent and corrupt. Because the one thing the right are _really_ good at is lying. ---

Donald is petty: he never lets a slight go on unnoticed, carries grudges, and seems to constantly need reassurance that he’s important and powerful. That’s a sure sign of weakness.
