# Anyone else affected by this Microsoft Outlook outage?

There is, in fact, a separate problem affecting Outlook.

It’s very confusing. An inability to access Outlook may be caused by the Crowdstrike problem, _or_ by the **[Outlook problem](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/major-microsoft-365-outage-caused-by-azure-configuration-change/).**

We’re discussing the Crowdstrike snafu **[here](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/breaking-news-huge-outage-interruption-created-by-crowdstrike-problem-july-2024/1004454).** That’s a global crisis.

The Azure-related Outlook issue appears to be limited to the central US.
