# Anyone else ever lie on the resume?

This thread has really become something that I didn’t want it to be. I thought that it could be funny. And I thought that most people lied on their resumes. But it seems that a lot of posters feel very strongly about lying on resumes.

And rightly so. Resumes should be accurate. If I were to embellish here or there, it wouldn’t have been in any place that would seriously mislead an employer. I might add a semester But I’m not going to. I’ve seen the light.

Just remember to proofread, Ike. It was putting down “doctorate in Romance Languages from Cal Tech” that got you where you are today.
