Anyone else find eye exams mildly stressful?

Your cite says there are two different drugs available for dilation, and one is more effective than the other.

Which says nothing about numbing. Which numbing is only relevant if they intend to use the “blunt stick” method of eye pressure evaluation.

It seems we’re talking past one another.

I don’t like having a thing hit my eye, and i hate having my eyes dilated, and having trouble seeing for the rest of the day. But I’ve never found “which is these is clearer” to be stressful. I take that part to be a collaboration between the eye doctor and me, so i get the vision i prefer and not just the number he reads off the machine, which is always close, but often a little different.
