Yes, I have pretty much the same dilemma you do. No, I don’t have any good solutions, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone here.
Didn’t Chumbuwamba once feed a dog an entirely vegetarian diet once? Tofu or something. I remember reading some of the anarchist things they did. And also they had about 8 or 9 people in the entire band.

Other than that, I don’t really care much for politics. I don’t know how what political leanings the artists I like have. After all, art is art. And even if I knew, I probably wouldn’t care- because good music is hard to find and even harder to give up. (Hehe, I prefer to yield to my addictions.) And personally it just doesn’t feel worth it, making a stand for one album or something. Just the way I am.
The only weird thing I can think of is that whole Nazi/Fascist thing with David Bowie- I saw something about it on VH1 which never did affect the way I felt.

No no!! No, er…I saw this thing on Vh1, and they said he was found with Nazi paraphenelia- er…stuff, and allegedly gave the “Heil” salute at an airport once. It seemed a bit sketchy. Er…come on, someone else watched the 100 Most Shocking Moments, didn’t they?
