# Anyone else just get the kind of injury you haven't had since you were seven?

Then there was the time I tripped in the stairwell to our condo when leaving for work. Got a nasty scrape on my right arm from the brick wall.

I bought a house in June and there’s a rather long sidewalk from the house to the garage. Unfortunately, there was a buckle in the sidewalk, and coming from the house one morning while it was still dark, my foot caught on the edge of the buckle and down I went. Scraped the hell out of the palms of my hands, but somehow managed not to rip a hole in my pants.

The following week…instant repeat, only this time, I bruised my wrist so badly it took a series of x-rays to convince me that it wasn’t broken.

The week after that, Hallboy dug up the buckled walk and poured new concrete.
