# Anyone else think The Cleveland Show licks the sweat off a dead dogs groin?

I watch the other two shows and like them a lot most of the time.
I watched two or three Clevelands and stopped and deleted it from my Hulu queue.
It wasn’t even watchable enough to leave on as background noise.

formulaic comedy. anthropomorphic creature (brian, klause, now the bear) exhibiting sensible human traits but reverting to their true-to-nature selves if desperate for bits.
another trope you might recognize would be baby that’s way too smart for his age, and the stay-at-home wife.
i think the cleveland show is just barely different enough from the other incarnations of the animated sitcom to stand alone because of the race card and the bear. the second they stop making racial jokes or bear jokes, they’re canceled.

Dogs don’t have sweat glands.
(perhaps Cleveland Show could make do by sucking the secretions from a dead dog’s anal sacs?)

Since this whole thread is anti-“Cleveland” I can say this without fear of thread shitting:
Even current Simpsons is preferable to Cleveland on any given Sunday.

I keep wondering what kind of dirt McFarlane has on Fox execs that he keeps getting show after show. I think all his stuff sucks.

The Cleveland Show sucks, but I did like MacFarlane’s explanation of why Quagmire didn’t get a spinoff: “Because no one wants to watch a show about a rapist.”
