Personally, I _loves_ Vanilla Coke, and when I saw Pepsi Vanilla in the “Chinese town” part of West Edmonton Mall, I almost crapped my pants. It was warm, but still good! To get the taste, imagine Pepsi. Now, throw in some Vanilla Extract. Basic, but effective. Its just like Coke, with vanilla extract. But, Pepsi! Yeah, enough with repeating myself, anyone else see this? ---

I tried on earlier today as amatter of fact. I love Diet Vanilla Coke. I had high expectations of Diet Vanilla Pepsi. I was sorely disappointed. It was not comparable. Funny after-taste, funny flavor. That said, I will base my opinion on one bottle alone. After all, I was dissapointed by my first bottle of Diet Vanilla Coke as well. But it grew on me. ---

Vanilla Coke and Vanilla Pepsi are awful. Cherry Coke and Cherry Pepsi, now there’s a drink. ---

I have an unfinished bottle downstairs. That won’t be true in a few minutes. I think I like it better than the Coke version. ---

The only correct way to drink vanilla cola is by going to a soda shop and ordering one, which will be made by adding vanilla to the cola. I hope and pray Coke doesn’t figure out how much more I like chocolate Coke, or they’ll try to bottle that, too. ---

I like it better than the Coke version. It seems smoother somehow. For the Diet version of course. ---

After years of making my own vanilla sytrup and adding it to my Pepsi, imagine my suprise when I saw this in the stores last night. Of course, I grabbed up two Vanilla Pepsi’s and two diet Vanilla Pepsi’s. While it cannot compare to homemade, it is alot better than that dreck that Coke makes. I haven’t tried the Diet yet, but at the rate I have been drinking the stuff, it shouldn’t be too long. ---

Actually, when since 7-11 came out with those flavor shots (3 pumps next to the Soda machines, 3 different flavor extracts (Vanilla, Lemon, and cherry maybe? I forget)), I tried my own Vanilla Pepsi (3 shots per Super Gulp) - the results were NOT encouraging, and I’m not sure I’ll try the real thing (having gotten burned on Pepsi Blue - that was truely horrid). Vanilla coke is only OK when you dilute it (a lot) in regular coke - otherwise it tastes kinda chalky to me (besides, Vanilla coke seems to have already disappeared from the self-serve fountains around here). ---

Haven’t seen it yet, but I love Diet Vanilla Coke. I’m still waiting for Diet Cherry Coke to appear in 20 ounce bottle from in NYC.
