# Anyone ever try Omaha Steaks?

**Serious** steak lover weighing in.

I am actually a little surprised at the amount of positive comments about Omaha Steaks. I have had them a number of times (by way of gift certificates) and have found them to be pretty ordinary. Most notable for me was the size (for the record, I am a rather petite person with an average appetite) – the filet mignons were literally laughable; you have to have two per person. Other than that, they had some gristle here and there. Ok, but definitely not great.
