For the past week I have had trouble with Yahoo! mail. Seems like I can get to my account, but not to my mail itself. It has been sporadic, and I havn’t had any indications it is my PC. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler? ---

Sporadically but a few minutes later I get in. ---

It’s been working fine for me. Perhaps I’m just unconsciously comparing it to the speed of the SDMB. ---

It’s been working fine with me, too (though I have been playing with the Beta version a little; maybe you’re in one mode or another that’s been acting a little buggy). ---

Every time I check my Yahoo mail and then immediately come to the boards and hit “New Posts”, Firefox crashes. Only on my work machine. I’ve submitted a bug report to Firefox every workday for the past 2-3 months. Not really related to the OP, but I couldn’t figure out a way to bash Bush or bring up gun control, so that’s all I got 🙂 ---

It won’t let me into my account. I get an “Ivalid ID Or Password” error. My capslock is off. I know I’ve typed my username and password properly. I get the same error on Yahoo messenger. The trouble started about two weeks ago. Since this is the first real problem I had with Yahoo, I just set up another account. My guess is that the database with my information in it has become corrupted. My username is still recognized as valid. You can send e-mail to it etc. But the ones and zeroes making up my password have become smudged. Since my valid password does not match the smudge, I can’t get in. ---

Yahoo Mail would crash Firefox on my computer but would work OK on IE, or even using Firefox on my wife’s computer. I wonder what the problem is?
