# Anyone Here Been To Kamloops?

I’ve been to Kamloops, about 30 years ago, en route from Calgary to Vancouver; and then all the way down the coast to San Diego (with a quick visit to Tijuana). I enjoyed the whole trip so much that I did it again as a honeymoon with my wife a few years later.

Kamloops seemed a bit dreary to me; memorable mainly because it was the first time I’d ever come across surf ‘n’ turf. To a Brit in the late 70s, that seemed extraordinary. So, for me, Kamloops = surf ‘n’ turf.
