Anyone here drink Tanqueray Rangpur gin?

hmmm. will have to clarify this with someone who told me that there was a difference due to the ingredients distilled to make each. I just believed him because he’s a personal trainer. :smack: I don’t even drink that much (2 drinks/week average), but every bit helps I guess!

Damn, I guess I just gotta fact-check every-damn-body…le sigh…

(thanks for the info-reading now! )

I have nothing worthwhile to add except: if you’re on Vancouver Island… try this. (Sorry about the Flash on their website; click “spirits”.)

Oh, my, my. $49 Canadian a bottle, and I bought a bottle–real fast. I slid through the people in the tasting room like a shark scenting blood, to grab the last bottle on the shelf, because this stuff is good.

I was a Bombay Sapphire drinker then I discovered Rangpur. I love Rangpur. For an everyday gin, it is the gin of the Gods.
Comparing the price to Hendricks or Anchor Steam, it is worth it. While I won’t argue that they are better gins, they are way more expensive.

Linky no worky - and I’m close enough to BC that I really really want to know what was that good!

IMHO, Rangpur tastes like it’s gin with ‘Lime flavored product’ in it. I’ve had it, I won’t go out of my way to get it again.

I lurve (in order):
Hendricks
Citadelle
New Amsterdam(*)

And will easily drink Sapphire if it’s the best thing available. Good thing about New Amsterdam is: it’s relatively inexpensive!

If I have tonic (and I frequently do), I’ll have a G&T, otherwise, it’s a martini, stirred, drunken olives, a little brine for me.

I agree on the martini glass…definately a stationary drink. You don’t drink martini’s to mingle.

I guess I’ll have to get rid of my jelly jars.
