I lift weights most days. It’s unpleasant. I do it because I like the shape it moulds my body into.
That said, I do find myself watching quite a lot of videos and reading a fair few articles on weight training and exercise, and I am expecting a delivery of resistance bands today which I am genuinely excited about, so I suppose this is a hobby which you could say I derive some enjoyment from.
Doing bicep curls to failure, though, is not enjoyable in any real sense of the word.
