# Anyone here play Scramble With Friends?

For those who don’t know, Scramble With Friends (SWF) is a mobile app game which is basically like boggle with power ups. I am unashamedly hooked and I was just wondering if anyone similarly afflicted would be up for joining an SDMB league.

I’ll run it and sort out the matches and everything so if you’re interested just post here or PM me with your SWF username. If I’ve gotten enough sign-ups by this time next week I’ll set it up.

Ruzzle is similar but better, unless they ruined that one in the two years I stopped playing. All of the power ups you could buy and apply to games made Scramble With Friends so cheesy. You could pay to cheat, basically, and everyone would get some freebie power ups anyway, and if you didn’t use the same freeby ones as the other player, it wasn’t really a fair match.

Ruzzle was much more straight boggle, no buying power ups or gimmicks like that. It may have changed, but I would recommend it over SWF.

I love to play. I don’t really like the “tournaments” thing they introduced awhile back. For one thing, I’m about 100% certain that you aren’t playing against other humans. It’s very unfair.

I’m always up for some SWF, if someone wants to PM me.

Yep, I play all the time. Though lately I’m down to one person that will play me regularly.
