# Anyone Here Use A "FlavorWave" or Similar Appliance?

Lately I’ve been seeing these infomercials all over with Mr T, for the FlavorWave Oven.

I’ve seen other similar type ovens on infomercials over the years.

Just wondering has anyone bought one or used a similar type oven? Do they actually work well, or just another infomercial gadget?

I used one once while waiting for my kitchen to be rebuilt. Worked fine but the size limitation was a pain.

My Mom has one like that, but I don’t know which brand it is.

She uses it all the time. She loves the thing!

Isn’t that just a small convection oven? I have a counter-top sized one and I rarely use the convection setting. I was fairly disappointed with it although it is good for heating up frozen french fries and pizza.

Well, Mr. T has always been one of my favorite chefs, behind only Jaques Pepin and Julia Childs. I’d best check this out now that it’s found its way out of the kitchens of top European restaurants.
