# Anyone interested in running a D&D for newbies?

I’m into it. I’ve never played D&D before. Other than one attempt on SDMB in the past in a game that fizzled out, I’ve never done any role-playing at all, but I feel relatively conversant in the argot anyway from here, from around the internet and from video games and so on. So this is perfect.

I think I’d either like to be a human ranger type or some kind of magic flinger, i.e. nothing melee-heavy and nothing spiritual, but if those are better for more experienced people I’m happy to defer to your wisdom.

Indeed. I’ve played with **glee** before and would love to again. **glee** , I’m also happy to play any role, including the healer.
