As the subject says, do you know where I could find 3" or 4" thick closed-cell polystyrene? Preferably either in Dallas-Fort Worth or with fairly cheap shipping. The type I’m looking for is Extruded Polystyrene (EPS). Home Depot carries Owens-Corning Foamular in 1/2" sizes but I’ve never seen thicker. I know the odds are slim of anyone even knowing what I’m talking about, but if anyone would know it’s the people of this board. ---

I’m surprised you are having a hard time finding it. Maybe because you’re in the south there’s not much call for it. I would check a Business-to-Business phone directory. Here in NYC I once needed custom sized planks of “bead board” and found a place that that sliced them to my exact specs without batting an eye. ---

Deadly Accurate, having been in the roofing biz, it does come thicker, it’s not for home use usually, and can I suggest going here - [http://www.nrca.net/select.aspx](http://www.nrca.net/select.aspx) - it’s the NRCA’s site - National Roofing Contractor’s Association - and checking with some of their members in your area? Either contractors or suppliers? You aren’t going to find something like that at Home Depot I’m guessing - they are more geared towards homeowners - you want a place that sells materials more for commercial/industrial I would think. That might well do. Thanks for the link. I definitely don’t want bead board. It makes a horrible mess when you cut it, even worse than closed-cell foam.
