I’m a Kevin Smith fan. I love his movies and they are full of dialog, unlike many movies that are put out there every year. Does anyone feel the same way? ---

I’m looking forward to it… but, dammit, why wasn’t it filmed in black and white with one-word chapter titles like “perspicacity” like the first one? That was a huge part of its charm. One of my all-time favorite movie quotes is “But I love gatherings. Isn’t it ironic?” ---

Clerks is probably my least favorite Smith movie… I know I know… blasphemer,moron,whatever… So I’m looking forward to it just because I am a fan of his in general not because I want to see this particular film. ---

I’m excited for it. I haven’t been wowed by the ads, but the movie has gotten a really positive reception so far- more than enough for me to take a leap of faith that this one will have more of what made me like Kevin Smith than _Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back_ did. ---

I am really looking forward to it. I need to organize a small group to go see it on Jluy 21st. Myself and a few friends are also going to go see the original Clerks. I loved the original, and from what I can tell from the trailers this is going to be just as drop-down hilarious as the first one. Plus, they now have Rosario Dawson (great actor, loved her in _Rent_) and Earl from _My Name is Earl_ with supporting roles. There’s really only one question left to ask. Is it July 21 yet? ---

Can’t wait. I’m probably going to have to go alone, though – my husband doesn’t ‘get’ Kevin Smith. He sat all the way through _Clerks_ and didn’t laught once. Can you imagine? Maybe my son will be home that weekend – he’d go with me. ---

I was unimpressed by the first LOTR movie and never bothered seeing parts 2 and 3, so I expect _Clerks 2_ will be loaded with references I won’t get, limiting my enjoyment.
