Paris’s presence doesn’t help . . . but I’m avoiding it because I get annoyed with “remakes” that completely ignore the basic premise of the original. If the only resemblence between the two is a wax museum, then don’t reuse the name, OK? ---

I won’t see it because a) Paris is in it and b) I don’t watch horror movies. Although, I do think it’s appropriate that Paris is in a movie entitled House of Wax since she comes off as a wax mannequin. ---

I probably will not see it. It really rubs me the wrong way that an heiress can buy her way into the spotlight, and a film career, when others with real talent have struggled to be admitted to a good college level performing arts program, then worked their butts off through that, and then have finally ended up working at Wal-Mart after graduation because it’s such a godawful tough business to get a break in. I’d like to hear what **even sven** has to say about this. She’s a graduate of a film program, IIRC.
