I notice that the SDMB has been responding much faster lately, and that now Fathom seems to take forever. Did the Reader spring for more hamster food? Whatever it is, I offer my thanks to the Chicago Reader and His Awesomeness (Cecil, who else?). It was really frustrating waiting sometimes for several minutes only to find that a posting was lost when the system went down. Hasn’ty happened for a while now, and I’m grateful.

Now watch…the hamsters will have died just before I hit “SUBMIT.” 😃

Actually, I believe that the hamster was replaced, after **Ed Zotti** tried to feed the “poor widdle hamster” and almost got his poor widdle arm chewed off. What I’ve heard is that **Ed** got a human-size wheel, and that **Wildest Bill** , **JDT** , and **He Who Shall Not Be Named** have been forced to take turns in the wheel.
