Imo, the reason it is horrible to the point of funny is because of a near perfect intersection of a disastrously created universe (magnified by the brilliance of the original), stilted and hyperbolic dialog and Cages’ inability to bring life to the character. So much about Cage was awkward; his hair, his overacting, his lack of chemistry with the rest of the cast. Given the talent involved and the expectations, it might be the worst movie ever. ---

I enjoy ridiculously bad movies, but this movie was just plain bad. This is coming from a fan of Nickolas Cage. ---
