# Anyone play Stronghold Kingdoms?

A friend was telling me about [Stronghold Kingdoms](http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stronghold_Kingdoms) the MMORTS . . . (umm some other letters) based loosely on the Stronghold games. I like medieval games and empire bulding games, but I’ve found a lot of mixed reviews on it.

Can anyone here tell me a bit more? How “playable” is it for a free game? How much/often do you need to play?
