# Anyone play those weekly fantasy sites? (Draftkings, Fanduel, etc.)

Thinking about throwing some money at one this year for football. Anyone had any luck with them? Recommendations for either one?

I play Draftkings because you don’t need to pick a kicker. It can be fun, but it can be a time suck, depending on how serious you want to be. Last year I spent several hours creating spreadsheets every week for football and you know what, it’s probably not worth it unless you’re playing with big money.

I liked NBA DFS, too. But I never got into MLB DFS because I think it’s just too unpredictable. Or it would require the most amount of effort to find a good system.

I believe you can play at “beginner” level for your first 50 contests on DK. I would maximize head to head contests at that level to start and see how you do.
