There are a ton of Facebook groups for people trying to get more people to join their games. Just join a group and start friending people in there at random. Youā€™ll get plenty in no time. ---

You grow your ā€œfamilyā€ by recruiting Facebook friends, and buy weapons and so on, and you get experience for fighting other families and doing ā€œjobsā€. Itā€™s free and you donā€™t have to install anything, and pretty intuitive. I picked it up in about 5 minutes, and if you donā€™t like it you can just quit playing. Even if you never do anything but sign up your friends get to count you as part of their family, which makes them more powerful. ---

I prefer _Perfect Warrior_ and _Heroes vs. Villains_, although like most Facebook apps, thereā€™s not a whole lot of depth to these games. ---

My hubby is addicted, ADDICTED to this game. Beware. Once you get into the higher levels, you really need mobsters to do anything. Seach for Mob Wars Friends lists to find people to add. ---

An addictive game, and very well made for its type! After I was done cajoling my friends into joining, I found the best way to get more people in your family is to visit the forum (accessible from in game) and find the ā€˜add me on facebookā€™ thread. Then just friend those asking and send them an invite. I even have them in a seperate label so I donā€™t get overwhelmed by wall posts that are all about Mafia. šŸ™‚ ---

Iā€™m still playing this thing - couldnā€™t possibly tell you why. Iā€™m edging up to level 300, and was on the verge of quitting when Cuba opened. Thatā€™s just barely managed to keep me going. In NY, Iā€™m earning something like $150 million per hour, and Iā€™ve finished all the jobs there. Cuba turned out to be disappointingly easy. I had all the businesses purchased and fully upgraded within a week or so, and now thereā€™s nothing to spend my money on there, either, other than whatever gear I need for the jobs, which is just pocket change now. Iā€™m sort of hoping to get up to the trillion dollar mark, but Iā€™ll probably get bored and quit before then. ---

It was easy at first but the properties become progressively more expensive as you buy them, so every $1bn I spend now only buys 3 Casinos instead of 10. Iā€™m still under a million per hour, but just bought 10 beachfront properties. Iā€™m maxed out on Mafia Mikeā€™s till I grow the family some more. Iā€™m not buying any high end buildings until I have at least 200 members and weapons, vehicles, and armor for everyone. ---

By the time you get to level 30ish, all the non-rare item weapons will be more or less obsolete.
