Has anyone seen “Possession” yet? I’ll admit to some trepidation. A.S. Byatt is one of my favorite authors, and I’m not sure how well the lyricism of _Possession_ will translate to film. (On the other hand, I liked the film version of _Angels and Insects_.) I don’t really trust some director not to muck it up. The fact that they changed the male lead from a nebbishy English nerd to a rough and tumble American doesn’t fill me with confidence. So, how 'about it, Dopers? Should I take a chance?

Sorry about the double post! I tried to catch it before it went out. Could a mod close this one?
