# Anyone seen that Japanese horror movie RING?

It’s alright, although it’s sort of annoying because it’s VCD. I usually don’t mind reading subtitles but for some reason it really affected this movie for me. I didn’t think it lived up to the hype but it is worth seeing.

Oh and by the way did you know that it was actually a series of movies. I’m not sure how far they got but I know there was a part two…Or at least the guy at the asian movie store was trying to get me to buy part two…

EXCELLENT movie. Scared the hell out of me. The subtitles just added to the whole experience.

I’ve seen the first one, and my understanding is that the are _two_ ring 2’s one of which ignores the major secret revealed about Sedako in the first movie. there is also a Ring 0: birthday, which is a prequel about the birth of Sedako, as well as a korean remake.
As I said, I’ve seen none but the first, which was very good, in a low key horror way. Meaning it isn’t very gory, just scary.
