Obviously inspired by the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” game. The premise: Bacon is trying to buy something with a credit card, and the cashier needs some ID. So Bacon runs out and finds 5 people who have some connection, the last of which is a girl who dumped the cashier in high school. He finishes by saying “So we’re practically brothers.” I thought this was the funniest reference to web culture I had seen recently. Has anyone else seen it? It’s been on for at least a week now. ---

My Bacon index is 4. My cousin Denis was in national tour of Fiddler on the Roof with Theodore Bikel, who was in Shadow Conspiracy with Steve Altes who was in Hollow Man with Kevin Bacon. (He was also in Vegas Vacation with Chevy Chase, but his part got cut. ☹ ) ---

No, no, Kevin Bacon rocks. He’s one of the most interesting actors out there. He was really intense in _JFK_ and is really funny in his comic roles. My Bacon number is 3. I once had drinks with Leonard Nimoy who was in _Atlantis: The Lost Empire_ with Jim Cummings who was in _Balto_ with Kevin Bacon.
