The addition of the training assignments do make it more interesting. The problem is some of them seem to be impossible. It’s barely possible but I doubt I will ever get five great throws in a row. That will stay there incomplete. Now I have one that requires I trade a Pokémon. Thanks to you nice people I have some friends on the game. Unfortunately that’s not enough. In order to trade you have to be physically close to your friend. That’s never going to happen either. ---

If you have a streak going, put your phone into airplane mode right before you throw. If you make the throw, turn your connection back on and it will count on the streak. If you miss the throw, kill the game before turning the connection back on, and your streak will be intact. There’s also the new Pikmin Bloom game now available from the same developers. It has some of the same gameplay as Go, so it’s worth a try. ---

I started playing a little over a year ago, as I was dating someone who had been playing since release. Lots of fun, and it gets me out of the dang house once in a while, which is a good thing. ---

I’ve just started playing again in order to get more steps in daily. I noticed what seems like a new bug, and was wondering if I’m just missing something obvious. On the Pokémon inventory screen, the top lists my total and max number of eggs rather than total and max number of Pokémon. The information for total and max number of Pokémon seems to have been removed. Was it moved somewhere else, or did they actually remove that information from the game? ---

I’m seeing Tags in the left column, total / max under Pokemon, in the center, and total / max under Eggs, on the right, so if you have _just_ started playing again after a while away, you may be missing an update and your app is verklempt. ---
