I will be visiting an uncle who lives in Knoxville, TN when my dad and a couple brothers are going to be there as well the weekend of Saturday, August 12th. D’oh! I’m going to be in Knoxville that week, but I only have one day and I need to spend it with my Uncle and his family. He has thyroid cancer, and we’re not sure how much time he has left. Oh well, maybe next time… ---

Not too pricey, very good food…but tends to be busy… I didn’t realize we had so many dopers here in K-town!! And Raleigh is approximately 7 hours away…I used to come home for weekends. Maybe I’ll join y’all… ---

Well I know that Knoxville is about 4 or 5 hours from Greensboro. I would love to come, but I really do not want to make that trip by myself. Is anyone going from Raliegh or other parts of NC that would consider car pooling ? Just curious . . . . ---
