# Anyone used the new planter bags or fabric root pots yet?

I’ve just started seeing these on gardening sites. Some places call them planter bags.

Must be a new product. They aren’t stocking them in the stores. Requires an online order. That’s a nuisance.
Is this a better mousetrap? Anyone tried these yet? Home Depot’s description says they let the roots breath better.

I’m wondering how well they’d hold up.

Weed growers have been using those for years–if you have a local “indoor gardening” shop you’re likely to find not only a better price but a variety of sizes from 1 gallon up to 20 gallons. They’re not bad and the washability factor is nice but the fabric ones allow the soil to dry out pretty significantly.
