Well guys, it looks like I am really just as crazy as they say I am. The scope went as well as it can go. They removed four small palops from the begining of my small intestine, and took some tissue samples. But he said from what he saw it doesn’t look like Crohns even though I have all the signs and symptoms. We will know more after the biopsies. Tuesday I go in for a barium x-ray of my small intestines what they couldn’t get to with the scope. If nothing is there then they will do a scope through my mouth and down. Boy isn’t it fun. I’m sorry guys, I was hoping this would be it and I would be on the way to recovery. Thank you for your support for a crazy woman. ---

And yes DRY, I was up until I had to leave for my test at 8am. I was going to stay on the boards to pass time, but it was the Administrators wise idea to go throught the boards when I needed them the most. 😉 That is the reason I didn’t get a chance to talk to you more last night Mistress Beth. I didn’t get to see your message. So, I sat in bed and read book four of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Still feeling kind of dopey and out of this so I hope my last two post have been coherent. ---

Kricket, I’m sorry I didn’t read this post before. If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to email me ([mauvaise3@home.com](mailto:mauvaise3@home.com)). My mother had Crohn’s, she had a colostomy (actually, a different -ostomy … something with a J, but I can’t spell it. She didn’t have a colon to be able to have the colostomy) and was on TPN for almost 20 years. It is scary, but not everyone has the same level of intensity with this disease. Some can even control theirs through diet alone (my cousin for one). I’ll keep my fingers crossed for your biopsies to come out negative, and hope that your problem is something simple to remedy. ---

Kricket- Hope they can find out what’s going on in there. I’ve had a few 'scopes done and for the last one, I drew a 🙂 face on my butt with a “what’s up, Doc?” bubble over it. The nurses all laughed but the MD doing the procedure didn’t ‘crack’ a smile! (humorless bastard!) Anyway, you have my prayers. Do the hospital and bathroom stories and jokes really help? The one site Tansu sent me to had a section for that but I didn’t go there yet. I am sure tho that I will need a good laugh after all this. Nothin like sittin on the toilet for 24 hours and then having them blow you full of air and stuff a camera up your ass at 8am. Well, good morning to you too! ---

Just to let you know that Crohns doesn’t mean the end of life as you know it, I want to point out that one of the contenstants on Australia’s version of Big Brother has Crohn’s Disease. The contestant, Peter, has had a couple of bad days due to some dietry hiccups, but seems to be coping fine in the Big Brother house, nearly 7 weeks in. ---
