# Anyone watch "Corner Gas"? (Canadian sitcom)

One quirk of the show is that the last name of each of the characters is the name of a small town in Saskatchewan. (Except Fitzie and Fitzie’s grammie, of course.)

Used to know the actor who played “Wes Humboldt down at the insurance and liquor store” but he died of cancer a few years ago. ☹

I think Brent Butt missed a real opportunity by not having a character named “Glen Ewen”, but he was from East-Central Saskatchewan, not the South-East corner, and may never have heard of it.
