Your basic ex-cop, hard drinking Irish fellow who now is a private detective or “finder” or whatever. A show you’ve seen many times, but it’s entertaining. The Galway location and the writing makes it stand out. Doesn’t hurt that Jorah Mormont from Game of Thrones is quite good in the lead role. Check it out if you haven’t seen it.

I’ve got it on my “to watch” list. Nice to hear a good review–I’ll try to get to it soon.

I saw the first series on a local PBS station. It was pretty good.
