# Anything as good as IMDB or TVtome for music?

IMDB is great for movies. TVTome is great for TV shows. But what about music?

I’ve been using [cddb.com](http://cddb.com) for a music database, but I don’t really find it all that great. There is no user-interaction. No external links or collected rankings from web users.

Is there a good music site that collects artists and their albums together?

[www.allmusic.com](http://www.allmusic.com) Sometimes run slow but its the best single resource I could really imagine is out there.

Two music sites I use all the time are the Allmusic guide and Discogs. Both are great depending on what you’re looking for. I especially like Allmusic, I can spend hours there just jumping from one link to another.

Allmusic has two sister sites worth checking out - the Allmovie guide and the Allgame guide.
