Or even better, did they run up a bunch of bills for IVF and then are “surprised” that the resulting pregnancy?/kid isn’t exactly healthy? And bankruptcy - what does that mean these days? Apparently it just means that your credit score sucks for seven years. Not that these people are out in the street, living in a cardboard box. And you want me to pay out of my retirement to cover these things? ---

FWIW, my father DOES pay for my Lamictal and my Paxil. Currently, I get my Zonegran through a private aid program my doctor hooked me up with. (Sadly, it’s the Lamictal that’s REALLY expensive, especially since I’m on such a high dosage, and it’s probably going to be increased when I go to the doctor’s on Tuesday) ---
