By Og, did you see that! **Carol Stream** has, by my count, gotten off four funnies in the past three months! And now, she comes up with a zinger! Well, OK, gotta be a little generous in our definition, but still! Great progress is being made, and its clearly all a result of our splendid example! ---

Seriously, any time I’m tempted to consider, as a reasonable part of the conversation, any taxation ideas from right-wingers of any stripe, all I have to do is remember that all they are is less direct, more carefully shaded versions of RR, and I really don’t have any qualms about taxing them until their hair bleeds. Thanks for providing me with the resolve to disregard your kind as fellow humans–you remind me every day that they wouldn’t piss on me if I were on fire, and that helps me curb my own natural compassion and consideration for them, of which they deserve none and get little, thanks to you, you, you. ---

You’re right, it’s all about numbers. If the Democrats can get enough votes to tax your corpuscles, I’ll feel better and better than I did yesterday about their doing so, and when the dudes in suits come on TV whining about “Is this fair, that I should work so hard and earn so much and have the government confiscate it like this?” I’ll laugh and flip open a beer, and go “Fuck 'em. Tax ‘em more, the worthless swine. They all think like RR anyway, and so get none of my consideration ever. What a tool I was to think of them as human beings! Yeah, pay for my health care, bitch, pay for my welfare, pay for my three dozen kids’ food stamps!” ---

The thing about taxing the rich is, they hate being poor more than just about anything, so they will work like dogs to keep their accustomed lifestyle. I’ll bet we could take 80% of their income, and those busy little beavers would just make more. Win/win. ---
