AOL CEO fires exec for taking his photo during important phone call to all staffers- Right or wrong?

On CNN today, there was a followup story - the CEO acknowledged he did it poorly, but the guy is still fired.

The CEO claims that Lenz had been warned before about taking pictures during conference calls, or something.

Here is an article quoting the memo in which the AOL CEO apologizes for the public nature of the firing, but not for actually firing the guy (who isn’t going to be hired back). The memo says, “Abel had been told previously not to record a confidential meeting, and he repeated that behavior on Friday, which drove my actions.”

Note that the Techcrunch site that I’m linking to is owned by AOL.

Thanks. The crown prince was a jerk, wasn’t he…
