Apartment Felines

The only caveat about adopting adult cats is that you don’t know what sorts of kitty box problems they might have. I’ve been burned by this, as have friends. I much prefer a grown up cat to a kitten, but I’ll put up with a kitten growing up if I can influence proper potty habits. Just a thought.

Thanks for more thoughts everyone, this human is moving at the end of the month… potential fur child/ren to follow. I’ll keep you posted!

Bert (my Maine Coon) and I agree with everything written above. Dopers know their cats and ALWAYS give good advice about them.

Don’t “skimp” on the cat litter in an apartment.

D and I buy “The World’s Best” (I THINK that’s what it is called). It is a corn-based litter and REALLY masks the pee odor. $7.98 a bag, though.

We also use a “Litter Robot” which I bought 5 years ago and still works beautifully.
