I had ZZ = Archbishop Zygmunt Zimowski, the Roman Catholic prelate of Poland, who died last year. Which had the elegance of not being a nickname.

I’m going to close this thread because the OP description no longer reflects the morphing rules.

A new thread is being opened (“Aphabetic pairs – interesting facts”) which will be explained under that thread title. That will be broad enough to recirculate through the alphabet ad nauseum.
